Life for people in their 40s 50s and 60s is getting more complex.  For many the pressures are three-fold — your own life, your parent’s life and your near-adult or adult children.    The economy, health care costs, education costs, job loss , caregiving– just to name a few.  There are not simple answers.  But there is strength in knowing that others share your pain and worries, and that together we can find some ideas and solutions to make life in the middle a bit easier.

This site begins with a focus on money issues because I have found that it is at the crux of many of life’s challenges. And for many baby boomers, with deflated retirment accounts trying to figure out how to juggle adult caregiving issues, sort out your parent’s finances or fund your child’s college education — it’s at the heart of what we worry about.  We’ll talk about these issues, point out resources, and share stories and solutions.  Join in.
